The 2019 Airsoft Surgeon Championship will take place over the weekend of 3rd & 4th August, with the RO’s match taking place on the 1st and 2nd.

The other BIG news is that it will be at a new venue, First Person Shooter on The Isle of Wight, situated just off the south coast of England, directly opposite Southampton.

FPS have only recently acquired the building and are in the process of turning it into a first class venue. It is situated on the dock side, just a short walk from Newport Town Centre and right next to a Premier Inn hotel. There is also a Beefeater restaurant/pub on site, so neither food nor accommodation should be a problem, plus there is also loads of parking space. It's now official, another real-steel manufacturers dives into the Airsoft market themselves! SIG SAUER released two press items that are airsoft related. What we have been aware for sometime now is that the company are planning to enter the airsoft market on their own. Their announcement confirms this as they end the licensing of SIG-branded Airsoft and Airgun products and the release of two airsoft guns under their SIG AIR ProForce Airsoft Line . After this announcement the SIG AIR ProForce Airsoft Line for Professional Training has been announced.  Starting with the ProForce M17 and P229 Airsoft Pistols. Speculations go that WE Airsoft might be the OEM party for the ProForce Airsoft Line given that they have the F226 (P226), F229 (P229) and M17 GBB Pistols in place.
