(PRESS RELEASE) ROCHESTER, New York, (March 2, 2010) – Crosman Corporation, long known for innovation and quality in the shooting sports, today announced the opening of a new warehouse and distribution facility in Shannon, Ireland.  The state-of-the-art facility will serve as the company’s European distribution center (EDC) and warehouse.  The company says that its design will streamline the order flow process and ensure product delivery within 7 days to anywhere in Europe, fulfilling Crosman’s global supply chain requirements.  The new EDC will be operational in April, 2010.

CYBERGUN announced today that they have acquired BIOVAL Technologies, well known because of their BIOVAL BBB's.

CYBERGUN improves their position in the airsoft market with the acquisition of Swiss company BIOVAL Technologies, BIOVAL can be considered as the leading manufacturer of high quality Bio bb's.

BIOVAL Technologies was working for several years on the "gulf like" DIMPLEX BBB's and the TSV impact system. We hope Cybergun will continue and speed-up the development of these products. They already announced to continue the development of the TSV impact system, which can lead the airsoft world into a more competitive and professional gameplay. The Cybergun acquisition strike continues with the acquisition of a real arms manufacturer, Swiss Arms.  which is more of a shares-swap deal. Bioval was already in a close relation with Swiss Arms, this might be a logical next step for Cybergun.

You want a SIG 550/551/'2/'etc. with real trades??? Looks like the world will soon be knocking at CYBERGUN'S door a little bit harder, as Cybergun announces at the IWA Show in Nurnburg, Germany they are acquiring Swiss Arms in a major new Cybergun deal.

Coverage again by several European financial services and sites show that the maker of SIG SG550-series carbines and rifles will have a much-more direct working relationship than their original marketing/licensing agreements that brought clear-plastic SIG guns to the Airsoft marketplace.

Foreshadowing their Swiss Arms announcement, we saw this poster at Cybergun's SHOT Show 2011 Display area 'Among the iconic models marketed by the company include the range SG550, SG551 and SG552 team that many armies around the world, as the French GIGN and the U.S. Navy SEALS.'

EAA LogoThis weekend on Sunday we had our first international SKYPE meeting! 8 associations represented! Matt Furey-King was elected as president, many thanks to outgoing president Gerard Goos. Lots of agreements reached. Lots of common interests and excitement about uniting European associations. And most important, followed by another meeting very soon!
