After SHOT SHOW we now focus our attention on getting you to sign-up for the next big thing for the airsoft media, airsoft industry, and the airsoft community in the world ---- the annual Airsoft Meetup that will take place at the IWA Outdoor Classics 2016.

One of the biggest outdoor, hunting, and firearms trade events in the world, the IWA Outdoor Classics attracts tens of thousands trade visitors around the world with 41,748 visitors and 1,376 exhibitors last year. The airsoft industry has a significant presence at the IWA Outdoor Classics, in fact there are more airsoft exhibitors at the IWA Outdoor Classics than the SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

The Airsoft Meetup, initially organised by NLAIRSOFT.COM and Popular Airsoft, now has become a larger event in the calendar of must attend events in the airsoft world. With the European airsoft media supporting this, over the years, more attendees have attracted more industry presenters. This year will be our 5th anniversary edition!

Crucial timing but a solid transition for the EAA: Matt is stepping down, and former NABV chairman Joachim Dekkers is now elected EAA President. The association will continue their fight against burdensome regulations that threaten the Airsoft game. Give them support to safe our sport on a European wide level. Joachim will lead the EAA to prevent measures that will stop the growth airsoft and help other associations in the region to grow and prosper.

2015 was a phenomenal year and we’ve had the opportunity to do a lot of cool things (like our very own app!), as well as having a lot of fun in the process. Thanks to each and everyone of you for making this a great year for the NLAIRSOFT.COM website. We are very excited about 2016, we have a lot more cool things to follow. What about a complete new website? :)

With all the news about incidents in which people, including children, are shot for carrying airsoft guns in public across the States, that soon it will get the attraction of a legislator in the U.S. Congress. Indeed, it has gotten the attention of Senator Barbara Boxer (D-California), that she filed Senate Bill 213 (S.213) on the 21st of January 2015.

Called the "Look-Alike Weapons Safety Act of 2015" it actually has a long title, the "To improve requirements for entering into commerce of imitation firearms, and for other purposes."
